Prison Ministry Prayer Requests for this week – 3/16/26

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Downingtown schools closed early yesterday, I believe it was due to the severe thunderstorms that were predicted to hit our area.  I’m amazed how much stock we put into man-made predictions like driving directions and weather forecasts.  And how often are those weather predictions wrong?

We trust so easily in man-made predictions even when we’re let down over and over.  How about God’s promises and predictions?  Where do those rank in our lives? Most Biblical prophesies have already come true.  Jesus himself fulfilled over 300 prophecies about the coming Messiah.  All that’s left in Biblical prophecy are things yet to come. Can we count on them?  Oh yeah.

Funny – we don’t hesitate to rely almost daily on predictions that are often proven wrong.  How often do we think about (and share) God’s promises which have been proven true and reliable over and over?  Do you think God wants us to think about (and share) them more often than we do?  Who in your life could use some Good News today?  Why not share the very best news?

Thank you all for your daily and weekly prayer support, so vitally important as the Chaplains and volunteers share the love of Jesus throughout the prison.  Providing this “top cover” is more important than you may think.  The enemy prowls around looking for souls to devour (1 Pe 5.8), and prison is a target-rich environment. Please remain vigilant with your prayer covering all aspects of this prison ministry. God bless your efforts!

Grace and Peace,

Rick
