Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
When you’re walking with the Lord, isn’t it great how we can be inspired by the simplest thing and it draws us to thinking about our great God? As I experience this absolutely beautiful day, the sunshine and warm temperature give me such a lift, and everything in me says “thank you, LORD! It’s all from you, and we don’t deserve it, but thank you so much!”
Of course that reminds me what we truly DO deserve – the wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23). BUT GOD loves us so much He made a way by sending His son to take our death penalty, and exchange our sin for His righteousness. And not because of anything we’ve done, but because of who HE is – for God is love (1 Jn 4:8). An incredible offer we’d be stupid not to accept, yet so many don’t bother with it. After all, it’s only your eternal destination at stake.
We need to help more people wake up to the fact that God designed our souls to live forever, and there are only 2 eternal destinations – with God (heaven) or without God (lake of fire, a.k.a Hell). With your eternal destination at stake, doesn’t it deserve even the most basic research? Yet so many are deluded that hell doesn’t really exist, or we all get to go to heaven, or other non-Biblical nonsense.
“Father, please help us wake up our families, friends, and neighbors to reality and the Truth. Give us the opportunities and the right words that will snap people out of their delusions to an invitation to be in paradise with You forever by following Jesus – the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”
Thank you for all your prayers for the salvation and wellbeing of inmates in Chester County Prison, as well as for the Chaplains, staff, and volunteers. We are blessed by your dedication to praying each week. God bless you!
Grace and Peace,
Rick
